Project Name: Jungle Book - 2016 release

Softwares used: Nuke

My role: 3D Deep multi layer compositing. Worked Right and left eye plate for stereo.

Description: Integrated ENV (background) layers according to the depth and animals in the mid and foreground. Darks and brights balanced .Worked on multi-light passes and shadow/reflection layers. Added bees on the background. Water ripple effect given on water reflection layer to make it natural. Color balanced on the cg and DMP.

Description: These are blue-matte shots of Mowgli. Integrated ENV (background) layers according to the depth and Mowgli, baloo in Mid and foreground. Balancing Darks and brights in the shots. Worked on multi-light passes and in shadow layers. Added bees on the background. bg and fg bokeh (defocus) level matched as per the camera lens level. Color balanced on the cg and DMP.

Description: scene scenario_ Forest caught fire, tiger is chasing Mowgli and the bagheera is chasing tiger to save Mowgli.

These are blue-matte shots of Mowgli. Integrated ENV (background) layers according to the depth and Mowgli, Sherkhan/Bagheera in foreground. Balancing Darks and brights in the shots. Worked on multi-light passes and in shadow layers. Added 2d fire and smoke elemets in the bg using deep layers. worked on fire light/glow. Bg and fg bokeh (defocus) level matched according to the camera lens level and rerack it manually by deep tools in the 3d space. Color balanced on the cg and DMP.

Description:

scene scenario_  Forest completely burning. Tiger(Sherkhan) and mowgli in conversation on the tree's toppest branch. Sherkhan coming forward to attack mowgli. 

These are blue-matte shots of Mowgli. Integrated ENV (background) layers according to the depth and Mowgli, Sherkhan in foreground. Balancing Darks and brights in the shots. Worked on multi-light passes and in shadow layers. Added 2d fire and smoke elemets in the bg using deep layers. worked on fire light/glow. Embers(sparks) and ashes added in 3d space (far/mid and fg) by creating particle, camera and deep in nuke. Bg and fg bokeh (defocus) level matched according to the camera lens level. Overall color balance.

Project Name: X-men: Apocalypse - 2016 release

Softwares used: Nuke

My role: Roto/prep, keying, Color correction, tracking, 3D multi layer compositing.

Description:

These are green-matte shots . Seperated the character from the input plate and integrated ENV (background) layers according to the depth. Balancing Darks and brights and color in the shots. Worked on multi-light passes and in shadow layers. Added cg transition smoke effect and blended it with the shot (Few layers added on the effect manually using nuke plug-ins). Created 2d light rays with dust particles using camera proj on the bg layer in 3d space ( making it feel like sunrays coming in). Bg and fg bokeh (defocus) level matched according to the camera lens level

Project Name: Victor Frankenstein - 2015 release

Softwares used: Nuke

My role: Roto/prep, keying, Color correction, tracking, multi layer compositing.

Description:

These are green-matte shots, captured with rain and sparks .

Seperated the set/character from the input plate and integrated with ENV sky. Balancing Darks and brights in the shots . Added rain, sparks and smoke in few areas and matched it with the timings as per the character movement and shot requirement. Added lightning/thunder/glow using 2d elements from nuke plug-ins and tracked/roto'd manually. Light/glow added on the character and set. FG lens flare bokeh added. Overall flash added on the frame when lightning appears

Project Name: Monster Truck - 2016 release

Softwares used: Nuke

My role: 3D compositing (cg with live action plate)

Description: cg monster under the truck being integrated with live action plate. Tuned up the Shadow and light passes on the cg monster. 2d smoke layer added and integrated behind the truck.

Description: cg monster under the truck being integrated with live action plate. Mud in the live plate restored back. Tuned up the Shadow and light passes on the cg monster. Few more 2d mud element added and integrated over it.

Project Name: Monster Truck - 2016 release

Softwares used: Nuke, silhouette

My role: 3d with live action plate (sky keying, prep, tracking, Color correction, stabilizing, edges paint, 2d elements, 3D compositing)

Description: Scene scenario : 

Car A: monster truck driven by the hero

Car B: Car driven by the cop

Car B chases car A. Car A drives at the top speed and crosses the railway track and drives away. Whereas the car B gets struck behind as the train approaches.

Shoot :- Was an outdoor shoot, with the BG being the live footage along the sky, field and not blue/green matte

Compositing :- It was a complete CG train. Matching the FG characters with the BG was a real challenge and the frame range for this shot was 850. Added 2d flying debris by using particle set up in nuke. 2d dust added on bottom of the cg train. Tuned up Train shadow,occlusion, blacks and highlights. Light wrap added. Fg characters CC tuned up. Fg charaters motion blur edges painted out to blend with cg. Camera shake added. eye glass color tuned up and reflection added on it.

Project Name: Monster Truck - 2016 release

Softwares used: Nuke

My role: 3d compositing (Multi layer compositing)

Description: CG cars flies down through the mountain. 

Integrated ENV bg mountains in different depth. Haze applied and color correction done on it. CG car and truck with monster added and blended on the FG mountain. FX smoke and dust integrated around it. Shadow and occlusion tuned up. Blacks/highlights and CC tuned up. 2d dust integrated with fx dust. Defocus added overall as per the depth using deep values set up in nuke 3dspace

Project Name: Passenger - 2016 release

Softwares used: Nuke

My role: 3d compositing (Multi layer compositing) with Live action footage

Description: Actor in Space ship. 

Integrated cg seat belt and bg galaxy, elevator outside the window. Tuned bright/dark and color on cg multi passes. Elevator/seat belt shadow and reflection added in the element plate. Window dirt and sky reflection added on it. Lighting fluctuation added on the plate and on actor to reflects the elevator shadow movement.

Description: ENV extension in background over FG bluescreen.

The shot captured in blue-matte with actors and table in FG.

Seperated the set/character from the input plate and integrated with ENV bg. Balancing Darks and brights in the shots. Blending character edges with bg. Overall color correction has done on bg and fg. bg defocus adjusted as per the camera lens and markers bokeh level on the screen. Revealed back the hair details from the input to more visible on the bg exposed areas on the ceiling by using various keyer and CC done on it.

My role: 3d compositing with live action footage

Description: 

Integrated 3d flying objects around the actor. Rig on the character prepped out. Balancing Darks and brights in cg passes. Overall CC done on the plate. Light refraction in bg added on the flying objects.

Tweaked color and brightness from the multi passes. Overall color correction has done on bg and fg. bg defocus adjusted as per the camera lens and markers bokeh level on the screen.
